There is a simple reason Frontier’s green chile makes an immediate impact on many of the people who order it: it’s always served warm unlike most green chile dishes that are served cool a la salsa. The restaurant roasts the peppers in season in a traditional fire drum in the alley behind the University-area restaurant. After peeling and cleaning the chiles go straight to the menu where it pairs well with just about anything: eggs burgers hash browns enchiladas burritos.
