The mountain views were unbeatable from this Mariposa restaurant matched only by the excellent chef-driven menu. Regional dishes led the way like the Cajun Crab Cakes and the Meatball Marinara Sandwich. But the Point also reinvented a classic by offering six different kinds of mac & cheese including varieties that used crab and brie and tomatoes and bacon.
(Editor’s note: The Point Grill closed shortly after the voting ended for 2018 Best Of The City for which it garnered the most votes in this category. As of press time the restaurant’s principles were preparing to open a spin-off called “High Point Grill” on Albuquerque’s West Side.)
